Current jobseeker projects in the Brisbane North and Sunshine Coast area.
Skilling Queenslanders for Work projects offer jobseekers customised employment and training assistance and helps Queensland to meet the demands of the labour market for a skilled workforce.
Community Literacy Program offers customised language, literacy and numeracy training assistance and helps Queensland to meet the demands of the labour market for a skilled workforce.
Get Set for Work offers a transition pathway towards getting a job, returning to school, or continuing with other education or training for fifteen to seventeen year olds who have left school, or are at risk of leaving before year 12.
Queenslanders Working Together is a federal government initiative administered through Skilling Queenslanders for Work which offers training and employment assistance primarily for parental and mature age jobseekers to boost employment prospects. Current projects are operating until June 2009 and no new contracts will be issued under this program.
Participate in Prosperity (PiP) is a Skilling Queenslanders for Work strategy helping link disadvantaged people who are outside the labour force with government services and assistance to create pathways to employment and increase their social inclusion.
Productivity Places Program (PPP) is part of the Australian Government's Skilling Australia for the Future policy. A component of the job seeker training places are administered under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative to assist job seekers gain Certificate II and III level qualifications in priority skill areas. Additional job seeker places will be available through a range of strategies including a public RTO tender process administered by the Department of Education and Training.

Project details
3D Bay & Building Bribie
This project aims to assist long-term unemployed and under-employed people from Bribie Island and Deception Bay area gain sustainable employment through an individually tailored combination of job preparation, accredited training and work placement.
Accredited training will be offered in Pre-vocational Certificate I in Construction and Blue Card Construction or Certificate I in Business.
Work placement will be construction-based and involve improving local community organisation facilities.
Job preparation will include activities focussing on life-skills, budgeting, workplace culture, job search and career planning.
Back To Work 2008-09
The Back to Work Program focuses mainly on mature-age participants in rural and remote localities.
Participants will be offered a combination of accredited training modules from Certificate I in IT and non accredited job search skills.
The program is delivered with a flexible approach offering an adult learning environment, small groups, self paced and facilitated by local coordinators and presenters.
The training component will comprise job search, skills recognition, basic computer training including Microsoft Word and Internet, resume writing, interview skills and application writing skills.
Beyond Crisis
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist young jobseekers from the Bowen Hills area.
Participants will receive assistance through a case management approach with a mix of employment assistance and accredited training.
A flexible accredited training package will be delivered to suit individual needs and to suit current industry demand in the areas of hospitality, business, retail, construction blue card and adult literacy and numeracy.
Bribie Island Employment & Business Resource Centre
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist local mature jobseekers.
Participants will have an initial up front assessment to establish an individualised assistance package.
Job preparation participants will be assisted with literacy and numeracy support, career path planning, job search skills, resume and application writing and interview skills.
Entry level training will be provided in the areas of hospitality, retail, information technology, business administration and Safety Blue Card.
Building Our Workforce (BOW)
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist local jobseekers to obtain employment in the areas of aged care, child care and disability care.
Participants will have an initial up front assessment to establish an individualised assistance package.
Job preparation participants will be assisted with job search, resume preparation, interview skills and career planning.
Selected accredited training modules will be delivered in Aged Care, Disability Services and Children's Services.
COMET (Community Minded Employment Training Program)
This project will provide job preparation and accredited training for long-term unemployed women affected by domestic violence.
Designed to bridge the gap between counselling and employment, participants will undertake accredited training modules in business administration and first aid.
Depending on individual requirements, job preparation may include literacy and numeracy support, help with conflict resolution, job search skills, budgeting and other life-skills.
CTC Gaps, Civil Construction & Work Placements 2009/10
This project is comprised of three sub-projects.
The first will provide job preparation for long-term unemployed and underemployed people in the South Burnett and Gympie areas and concentrate on individualised job-matching and attaining job search skills.
The second project will provide accredited training in civil construction for long-term unemployed in Gympie and include tailored job preparation.
The third project is a construction-based work placement for Indigenous jobseekers from the Cherbourg and Murgon areas and includes accredited training in work safety.
Some administration-based work placements will also be offered.
Career Support - Employment Assistance Project
This project will provide a range of activities to jobseekers from Caboolture and surrounding areas.
An individual case management plan will be developed for all participants and job preparation assistance will be provided to address barriers to employment.
Two work placement projects will be offered, Building for Tomorrow participants will refurbish an existing community facility and gain basic skills in construction, the second project will place female jobseekers with host employers where they will gain skills in administration.
Selected accredited training modules will be delivered in business administration, community services, associated health, construction and language literacy and numeracy.
Centacare Working Skills Project
This project will provide a mix of job preparation and accredited training in civil construction to long term unemployed and marginalised people from Brisbane city and inner northern suburbs.
Accredited training will be offered in Certificate II Civil Construction and will be integrated into job preparation activities such as life skills assistance, job search techniques, basic IT training, problem solving and building self esteem.
Cherbourg Business - Our Business
This Queensland Green Army project will support the development of a market garden
for the Cherbourg Community, including land management and water conservation.
Workplace activities will include fencing, yard building, weed management, welding, soil preparation, setting up irrigation systems and assisting with sales.
Additional workplace projects will include the development of Cherbourg's first website (acting as a 'whole of community' web portal) and hospitality and retail activities such as product sales, food and beverage service, stocktaking, ordering and money management.
Customised Case Management
This project will provide tailored job preparation for the long-term unemployed with a focus on confidence building and developing employability skills.
Participants will follow "The Perfect Career" program which includes job search training, personality profiling, goal setting, team activities to improve motivation, self-esteem and inter-personal communication and access to literacy and numeracy support.
EMERGE Empowerment, Motivation, Experience, Resolve & Growth = Employment
This project will provide work placements, job preparation assistance and accredited training to disadvantaged jobseekers in Maroochydore and surrounding areas.
Participants will undertake fulltime employment over a sixteen week period in administrative roles with various host employers under the Work Placement program.
Job preparation assistance in improving personal development, communication skills, setting goals and job search activities will also be offered as well as accredited training in basic computer operation.
FOCUS
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist local young people to build their employability capacity to participate in the workforce.
Participants will be assisted with job search techniques, resume preparation, problem solving, communication skills and personal budgeting.
Accredited training will be provided in vocational literacy and numeracy.
Get Into Transport and Logistics
This project aims to assist unemployed and underemployed jobseekers into employment in the transport and logistics industry through the provision of accredited training, work experience opportunities and job preparation assistance.
Participants will have an initial up front assessment to establish an individualised assistance package.
Selected accredited training modules will be delivered from Certificate II in Transport and Logistics training packages.
Green Star Transition
This Queensland Green Army project will improve the grounds at Sandgate Community Centre and target Indigenous jobseekers.
Two intakes are proposed for the year and will involve work activities including landscaping and planting of native plants, regeneration of a community herb garden and basic construction activities (including Construction Blue Card and First Aid training).
An additional work placement will engage Indigenous participants (principally women) with a newspaper project and involve research, interviewing, photography, editing and layout and general administration.
Participants will also undertake core units from Certificate II in Business Administration.
All participants will receive job search training and life-skills coaching.
Gympie Show, Muster, River Reveg
This Queensland Green Army project will focus on the revegetation and stabilisation of various sites along the Mary River and target the long-term unemployed, disadvantaged youth and mature-age jobseekers.
Participants will undertake work activities in revegetation, weed control, brush cutting, concreting, landscaping and shed construction.
Accredited training will include Construction Blue Card, core units from Certificate II in Horticulture & Conservation and Land Care and the AC/DC Commercial Spray Operator course.
Hinterland Employment & Training Solutions
This Queensland Green Army project aims to regenerate bushland, maximise the local recycling effort and improve parkland facilities such as nature strips, walkways, bicycle paths and cemeteries.
The program will incorporate accredited training in First Aid, level one Chainsaw operation and Construction Blue Card.
Participants will undertake a selection of work activities including tree planting and maintenance, small machinery use, plant identification, pest and weed management, playground equipment maintenance, landscaping and construction, waste management and recycling.
Increasing Job Security and Innovation Through Upskilling
This project aims to assist participants across Brisbane who are underemployed and/or vulnerable in the labour market, particularly those who lack skills to progress or are susceptible to technological change or restructuring in the workplace.
Participants will initially focus on the development of employability skills such as problem solving, communication, adapting to change and team-work.
A more technical approach will follow, with participants undertaking training in specific skills such as welding, food processing and engineering.
Joblink 2008-09
This project is designed to assist unemployed mature-age jobseekers and/or underemployed people from the Toowong area.
Participants will be assisted through a one-on-one basis in developing jobseeking skills and methods and the delivery of accredited training.
Participants will be encouraged to undertake further training, study or qualification, to enhance their job seeking prospects.
KYC Futures Project
This project aims to assist job-seeking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are aged 18 or over and reside on Bribie Island or Caboolture.
The project aims to address a range of barriers impacting on participants' potential to enter the workforce with an individualised approach to needs and assistance that combines aspects of job preparation, accredited training and work placement.
Job preparation will include a range of life skills and job search activities.
Work placement will involve the development of a multi-media resource that promotes Bribie Island.
Accredited training will be provided in entry level information technology, multi-media and business administration.
MCC One Stop Shop
This project will provide an individually tailored combination of job preparation and accredited training to assist culturally and linguistically diverse people from north Brisbane transition into employment.
Accredited training will be offered in Certificate III Children's Services, Certificate III in Aged Care and Certificate II Asset Maintenance/Cleaning Operations.
Case-managed job preparation may include activities including Australian work-preparation and practices, legal rights education, job search techniques, personal financial management and goal-setting.
MCC One Stop Shop
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation, work placement and accredited training to assist migrants and refugees.
Participants will have an initial up front assessment and an individualised assistance package will be designed to assist them.
Work placement participants will refurbish training facilities at Bowen Hills and will undertake basic construction work.
Job preparation participants will be assisted with job search, resume preparation, interview skills, career planning and internet job search.
Selected accredited training modules will be delivered from Certificate III in Children's Services, Certificate III in Aged Care and Certificate I in Horticulture/Landscape.
MC Connect
This project aims to assist refugees and migrants from non-English speaking backgrounds from the Caboolture and surrounding areas to gain meaningful employment through a combination of job preparation, accredited training and work placement.
Job preparation will have an individualised approach to helping participants achieve employment goals and includes language, literacy and numeracy training, computing skills and interview techniques.
Accredited training will be offered in Business Administration.
This project also provides an opportunity for some participants to undertake work experience with local non-profit organisations.
MINDLE GOOLGHUN WUNBEE
This Queensland Green Army project will restore significant coastal wetland and Aboriginal cultural heritage areas, contribute to the beautification and conservation of foreshore areas and assist with infrastructure restoration and revegetation at a botanic garden.
The project will target the long term unemployed, focussing on Indigenous people, and includes work activities such as fencing, tree planting, weed removal, stabilising walking tracks, wildlife data collection and conducting surveys.
Participants in the administration-based work placement will undertake competencies from Certificate II in Business Administration.
Participants in the construction/landscaping work placement will undertake Certificate I in Horticulture and units in forklift and front end loader operation.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Green Project

Pathways Project: Homeless 2 Jobs Phase 2
This project will provide a range of activities including Job Preparation and Accredited Training to assist 40 long-term unemployed youth from inner city Brisbane attain the basic skills necessary for labour market participation.
Job Preparation participants will be assisted with literacy and numeracy, job search methods, interview techniques and personal presentation.
Depending on their personal interests and capabilities, Accredited Training participants will be able to focus on a range of topics including retail, hospitality, construction Blue Card and bar and gaming.
Pathways to Success
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation, accredited training and work placements to support a diverse range of jobseekers from the Brisbane North region.
Participants will have an initial up-front assessment to establish an individualised assistance package.
Participants will then have the opportunity to undertake job preparation activities such as job search, interview skills and career planning.
Work placements that complement the participants previous qualifications will also be offered with a host community organisation and accredited training participants will undertake a full Certificate III in Aged Care.
Petrie Creek Rehabilitation
This Queensland Green Army project aims to improve water quality and biodiversity in the Petrie Creek catchment area.
The program will incorporate accredited training and job preparation and will target Indigenous people, Australian South Sea Islanders and the long-term unemployed.
Participants will undertake work activities in plant identification, planting techniques, herbicide application, nursery operation, chainsaw operation, water quality testing and public speaking.
Positive Futures
This project will provide job preparation and accredited training for mature-age jobseekers and parents and carers in the Gympie area and aims to prepare participants for work in the aged care and disability sectors.
Accredited training will include six core units from Certificate III in Aged Care.
Job preparation will include individualised job search training, goal setting, communication and self-esteem building in a "job club" setting.
Some financial assistance may be offered to eligible participants for transport and child care costs.
Prepare for Work and Apex Camp upgrade
This project is comprised of a construction-based work placement aimed at the long-term unemployed and a separate job preparation placement for mature-age jobseekers and parents and carers.
Work placement involves refurbishment of the Apex Camp Mudjimba including concreting, landscaping, painting and tiling.
Accredited training units in Work Safety in Construction and general construction will be offered.
The job preparation project will include literacy and numeracy training, money management, computer skills, goal setting and job search methods and skills.
Project 180
This project aims to assist disadvantaged young people aged 18 to 24, particularly Indigenous youth, develop job-focussed media skills with a combination of work placement, accredited training and job preparation.
Accredited training involves eight competencies from the Certificate III in Media (Multimedia).
Work placement will include activities such as sound recording and editing, graphic design and desktop publishing.
Job preparation training is embedded into the project and covers job search methods, addresses barriers to learning such as health or literacy levels and career planning.
A contribution to participant transport costs may be available if required.
QWI Skilling Queenslanders 2009-2010
This project, with Queensland Water Infrastructure (QWI) as the auspicing organisation, will capitalise on job opportunities for disadvantaged jobseekers living near sites of the Wyaralong Dam near Beaudesert and the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam near Amammor.
QWI will work with local Community based organisations to develop and implement several Green Army and Work Placement projects, designed to regenerate and improve habitat corridors for wildlife, restore degraded river banks and build or improve recreational facilities including horse and walking trails.
Activity is initially concentrated at the Wyaralong site, pending Federal Government approval of the Traveston Crossing Dam on the Sunshine Coast.
Wyaralong projects will include the establishment of new community infrastructure, bush regeneration and wildlife and waterways conservation.
Securing Futures
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist jobseekers to build their employability capacity to participate in the workforce.
Participants will be assisted with job search techniques, general computer training, internet training and career path planning.
Selected accredited training modules will be delivered from Certificate II in Engineering, Certificate I in Automotive and Certificate I in Transport and Logistics.
Participants will also be able to obtain a Blue Card in construction.
Skilling Queenslanders for Aged Care Work
This project will provide job preparation and accredited training for young parents and mature-age jobseekers and aims to introduce participants to the community services sector.
Participants will receive accredited training from Certificate III in Aged Care Work in conjunction with job preparation activities such as job search training and basic computing.
On completion of training, participants will undertake a short-term work experience placement.
Assistance towards transport and childcare costs may be available to eligible participants.
Skills Passport 09/10
This project will provide job preparation for marginalised people from Brisbane city to help them transition into employment.
Job preparation will cover job search techniques, basic IT training, problem solving, improving self esteem and developing personal training plans.
"Work Skills Tasters" will be offered to participants and include shoe making, leather work, computer refurbishment, barista training and warehousing.
Smorgasboard of Skills Opportunities
This project will deliver job preparation assistance and accredited training in hospitality to young jobseekers in Noosaville.
Participants will develop an individual learning plan and undertake job preparation activities in teamwork, personal presentation, communication skills, job search and basic computer operation.
Modules from Certificate II in Hospitality will be delivered as part of the accredited training component of this project.
Sunshine Coast Work Skills
This Queensland Green Army project will provide a range of activities including work placement and accredited training to assist jobseekers from the Sunshine Coast areas.
Participants will undertake a range of work activities including basic construction, horticulture, landscaping, fencing, concreting, customer service and general administration.
Participants will be placed across three locations in Tewantin, Maroochydore and Caloundra to undertake either full-time work placements over a 17 week period or 26 weeks part-time placements depending on participants' needs.
The Shed & Way to Go
This project is comprised of two sub-projects for long-term unemployed people in the Gympie area.
The first project offers accredited training in either construction or engineering and will include participants undertaking a team project such as constructing a cubby house.
The second project offers job preparation training and includes development of life-skills and job-search methods.
Accredited training in Certificate I and II in Self-Awareness and Development is included.
Waste Management
This project will provide job preparation and accredited training for the long-term unemployed on the Sunshine coast and aims to introduce participants to the waste management and waste recycling industry.
Accredited training will include core units from Certificate II in Asset Maintenance (Waste Management).
Job preparation will include tailored job search training and career development.
Work 'n' Place 2007/08 to 2009/10
The Work 'n' Place 2009-10 project will provide opportunities across Queensland for people suffering with mental health issues enter into ongoing paid employment.
This project is being delivered as part of the Government's commitment under the National Action Plan on Mental Health 2006-2011.
The model developed by Mental Health Association allows for a greater deal of flexibility geographically, in the nature of work placements available to participants and in the work/study mix.
Work Connections
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation, work placement and accredited training to assist a minimum of one hundred jobseekers from the Mitchelton and Caboolture areas.
Participants will have an initial up front assessment and an individualised assistance package will be designed to assist them.
Job preparation participants will be assisted with job search, resume preparation, interview skills and career planning.
Work placement participants will be placed with host community organisations to provide them with workplace experience in business administration.
Accredited training will be delivered offering core competencies from Certificate II in Business Administration.
Work Connections
This project will provide a combination of job preparation, accredited training and work placement for long-term unemployed and underemployed people from Brisbane's Redcliffe and Geebung areas.
Job preparation participants will receive training in job search techniques, career development, communication and workplace fundamentals.
Participants undertaking accredited training will complete units from Certificate II and III in Business Administration.
Work placements will take place at a number of local host-employer organisations and focus on business administration activities.
Young Artist Mentoring Program & NAVIGATION - Arts Business Training for Emerging Artists & Art Workers 2008-2010
This project aims to offer a range of integrated services to assist young people make a career in the Arts industry.
Participants will either be mentored by a member of the arts industry with specialist support and an involvement in a project partnership, or undertake an arts business program utilising accredited training modules in Business and the Arts.
Your Employment Service
This project will provide job preparation assistance for mature-age and long-term unemployed jobseekers.
Activities for participants include job-search training, career counselling, an introduction to the labour market, referrals to external services and communication and public speaking training.
Each participant will receive one-on-one assistance and help to develop an employment 'action plan'.
Your Future Pathways (Linked Learning)
The program aims to provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist jobseekers in rural and remote areas of Queensland.
Participants will be offered job search activities including resume writing and interview skills.
Selected accredited training modules will be delivered from adult literacy and numeracy, Certificate I in Information Technology, Certificate II in Business Skills for workforce entry and the TAFE Readiness Pathway Program.

This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist young local jobseekers with a disability to build employability and participate in the workforce.
Participants will be assisted with job search techniques, use of technology, budgeting and post participation support.
Accredited training will be provided in Course in Skills for the Future.
Get Set For Work - Nambour
This project aims to provide a range of services, support and accredited training to engage participants in sustainable employment, further education and training or return to school.
Participants will have access to a range of accredited training specific to their needs and non-accredited training, including personal development, life skills, literacy and numeracy, art and art therapy, job club as well as social activities to build their networks of friends and support systems.
Get Set for Work - Back to Basics
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist local young people to develop new pathways to further education or employment.
Participants will participate in art workshops, careers education and development, horticulture workshops, work experience and personal development.
Accredited training will be provided in Certificate I in Job Readiness and participants will undertake short "tastes" of courses in various vocational areas to help them to select area/s of further study.
Get Set for Work - Caboolture/Morayfield
This project will assist youth from the Caboolture area aged 15 to 17 who have disengaged from school by offering them job preparation activities that aim to transition participants into sustainable employment or further training.
Job preparation will include improving life and social skills, literacy and numeracy, building self esteem and confidence and team building activities.
A variety of accredited training units will also be offered in fields such as retail and hospitality.
Each participant will receive support to set and achieve personal goals during the course of the program.
Get Set for Work - Caboolture and Bribie Island
This project aims to assist disengaged youth between 15 to 17 years of age from Caboolture and Bribie Island with a combination of job preparation and accredited training.
Participants will have the opportunity to undertake accredited training units in literacy and numeracy.
Job preparation will include individualised plans for each participant to transition into work or vocational training and involve a variety of team building and personal development activities, job search techniques and workplace visits.
Get Set for Work - Cooloola 2009
This project will provide a range of activities including work placement, job preparation and accredited training to assist young local jobseekers build their employability capacity to participate in the workforce.
Participants will be assisted with job search techniques, communication skills and personal development.
Work placement participants will be placed with host employers on a part-time basis and will undertake work activities in office administration and retail.
Accredited training will be provided in Certificate I in Retail and all participants may elect to undertake modules from Certificate II in Engineering, Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical, Certificate II in Information Technology, Certificate II in Horticulture, Certificate II in Hairdressing, Certificate II in Hospitality and Certificate II in Business.
Get Set for Work - Deception Bay
This project aims to assist disengaged youth between 15 to 17 years of age from the Deception Bay area with a combination of job preparation and accredited training.
Participants will have the opportunity to undertake selected accredited training modules in literacy and numeracy, business, hospitality and retail.

Get Set for Work - Mitchelton, Lawnton & Geebung
This project aims to assist young people between 15 to 17 years of age from the Mitchelton, Lawnton and Geebung areas who have disengaged from school.
Intensive individual support training and employment assistance strategies will be offered including job preparation activities such as pre-work assessment and preparation, literacy and numeracy training, work experience and industry visits.
Accredited and non accredited training will be offered in hospitality and construction blue card.
Get Set for Work - Redcliffe
This project aims to assist young people between 15 to 17 years of age from the Redcliffe area who have disengaged from school with customised support strategies to help them obtain sustainable employment or further training.
Job preparation activities will include language and literacy assistance, goal setting, confidence building and social and living skills.
Participants who have not completed year 10 will be offered the chance to complete the "Access 10" program through Brisbane North Institute of TAFE.
Get Set for Work - Respec
This project will assist disengaged youth from Brighton, Sandgate, Bracken Ridge and Zillmere areas with an individually tailored mix of job preparation and accredited training.
Job preparation will include a variety of life-skills such as self esteem building, team building, job search techniques and assistance with economic, social and health issues.
Accredited training will be offered in literacy and numeracy.
Get Set for Work South Burnett - (South Burnett CTC)
This project aims to provide support and referral services to Indigenous and young people with multiple barriers to re-engage in school, training or access employment.
Participants will be case managed individually to develop learning and action plans.
Communication and team work skills will be developed through camps, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and other group activities.
Accredited training will be provided in the Course in Skills for the Future and participants will also have the opportunity to undertake work experience and part time employment.
Get Set for Work _ City Care Brisbane
This project will assist disengaged and marginalised youth from Brisbane City, Fortitude Valley and surrounding areas with an individually tailored mix of job preparation, accredited training and work placement.
Job preparation will include a variety of life-skills such as budgeting, computing, goal setting and job search techniques.
The part-time work placement component offers a number of opportunities such as warehousing, transport and delivery, catering and basic computer maintenance.
Accredited and non-accredited training including Blue Card (Construction), computing and attaining a driver's licence will also be offered.
Gr8 Start
This project will provide a range of activities including job preparation and accredited training to assist local young people to develop new pathways to further education or employment.
Participants will complete a "learning and transition plan" which includes integrated vocational and life skills development, accredited and non-accredited training, job search skills development and practice, work experience placement and post-participation placement.
Accredited training will be provided in Course in Skills for the Future.

This Participate in Prosperity project is aimed at supporting the Brisbane Social Enterprise Hub program to assist those disadvantaged in the labour market.

CTC Community Services Training
This project will assist the long-term unemployed and underemployed transition into the community services industry with targeted accredited training.
Participants will undertake a full Certificate III in Community Services Work which includes the ability to specialise in youth services, community development, disability work and aged care.
Career Switch
This project will assist recently retrenched or underemployed people from the Chermside, Lutwyche, Kedron and Brisbane city areas transition into the community services industry with targeted accredited training.
Participants will undertake either the Certificate III in Community Services Work or Certificate III in Disability Work, and take part in up to 100 hours of vocational placement.
Basic job search techniques and methods will also be provided.
Community Services Response Project
This project will provide assistance to local jobseekers to obtain employment or access to further training in community or disability service.
Participants will undertake accredited training to obtain a full qualification in either Certificate III in Community Services Work or Certificate III in Disability Work.
Foundation Skills for Working in the Cleaning Industry
This project will assist recently retrenched or underemployed individuals from the mid-northern suburbs of Brisbane transition into the cleaning services industry with targeted accredited training.

This project will assist unemployed individuals from the Caloundra area transition into the aged care industry with targeted accredited training.

This project will assist the long-term unemployed and underemployed transition into employment within small business and administration with targeted accredited training.
